Introduction Steatite ceramic socket
Steatite socket or steatite ceramic socket belongs to steatite ceramic. Steatite ceramics (steatite C221) as the assembling constructional element, are normally used in dielectric equipments. According to its structrual features, we can choose different forming methods to make (Ex: Thermal casting, Dry pressing, ISO pressing, extrusion and so on ). It can be sintered under 1390C. If necessary, it can also be glazed on surface in further process.
Steatite Ceramics Advantages:
- Good dielectric strength
- Tracking resistant
- Heat resistance and form stability up to 1000C
- High mechanical strength
- Non-combusible
- Resistant to UV radiation
