Introduction Zircon ceramic plate
Zircon plate belongs to zircon ceramics. Zircon ceramics refrers to the zircon(ZrSiO4) as the main component of the ceramic. It has good thermal shock resistance, acid resistance and chemical stability but poor alkali resistance. Zircon ceramic has low thermal expansion coefficient and low thermal conductivity. The flexural strength can be maintained between 1200-1400 Deg C. But the mechanical properties is poor. The production process is similar to the general industrial ceramics.
Solubility:insoluble in acid and alkali, non-magnetic or weakly magnetic, weak conductivity.
Characteristics and Technical Data sheet of Zircon ceramic plate
- Zircon ceramic as refractory materials, has been in the production of glass balls and glass fibers with low alkali aluminoborosilicate glass furnace has been widely applied, with good electrical properties and mechanical properties. It can also be used as an electrical insulator and a spark plug.
- Mainly used for making high strength and temperature porcelain, porcelain crucible, high temperature furnace for burning plate lining, glass melting furnace, infrared radiation ceramics.
- It can be made as thin wall products: the crucible, thermocouple tubes, nozzles, thick wall products – mortar.
- Zircon ceramic has chemical stability, mechanical stability, thermal stability and radiation stability. It has good tolerance of u, PU, am, NP, Nd, Pa and other actinides. It’s the ideal dielectrice material for high radioactive waste of solidfied steel(HLW).
